Early yearsKlaus Badelt was born in Germany on June 12 1967. Klaus started making music when he was a kid. He made a T.V. show where his friends & neighbors were the actors. He made the music for the T.V. show. He thought he could really match the music with the mood.
In Germany, his first jobs were creating successful music for movies and commercials. In 1998 Hans Zimmer, the Oscar-winning composer, invited Klaus Badelt to move to California and work at his studio. Working in Hollywood, Klaus Badelt worked with Hans Zimmer on films like Gladiator and X-Men. In 2002 Klaus composed the score for K-19: The Widowmaker. His first big success was Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, which included the popular song "He's a Pirate." |
